After a frenetic weekend of watching Formula 1's (massive F1 fan) swansong at the grand prix in Sepang, I treated myself to a few days of tropical paradise with a friend at the Perhentian islands, in Malaysia. The two main islands are Perhentian Besar and Perhentian Kecil and we stayed at the The Barat Perhentian in the larger island (Besar).

Our 3 days had a spectacular mélange of intense sun, tropical thunderstorm, top food and drink and... did I mention, our Scuba diving course?
