Leaf Peeping in New England, October 2018

I'd been yearning to go see the trees in New England run riot with colour ever since I chanced upon some pictures online, years ago. Ironic then that it should be sheer happenstance for me to fall into its midst last fall!

I'd dropped out of an arduous trek in the Kanchenjunga region, owing to a niggling sports injury. A valid visa, pre-approved leave and shockingly good airfare (booked a week before I left) later, I found myself instead, smack bang in the middle of the most visually awe inspiring, scarcely believable smorgasbord of nature's performances.

Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusets and Rhode Island, it has been a privilege.
